“In lockdown as I go for may daily exercise walk and in my backyard magpies have featured heavily in my environment. Often one will stand alone with the others in the group in trees or further along the track. As a metaphor for the human condition in this time I am but one of many isolated in home but realising as I walk the pathway there are so many others who walk alone as well as such I am ‘one of many’. ”
